Aha! is where leaders unite to make a lasting impact. We create strategic plans that align stakeholders and strengthen community and economic development.

 

We are named for our founder, Amy Holloway, and draw from her 30-year career as a prominent national strategist for more than 200 economic development and community organizations. Her clients have included some of the dynamic economies in the country such as Asheville, Atlanta, Austin, Charleston, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Columbus, Miami, Nashville, Provo, Richmond, and many others.

Our clients span economic development organizations, chambers of commerce, local governments, and leadership groups. We tailor our services — including strategic planning, research, and facilitation — to each client’s unique needs, bringing people together to transform ambition into action.

Amy established Aha! in 2024 after serving as founder and president of Avalanche Consulting from 2005-2020, and partner and national director of economic development services for Ernst & Young from 2020-2024.  In addition to Aha!, Amy serves as Practitioner in Residence at Harvard Kennedy School Reimagining the Economy Project.

We foster trust through broad stakeholder engagement, active listening, impartial perspectives, and uncovering shared priorities. We believe so firmly that trust is the foundation of community progress that Amy has written a #1 bestselling book on the topic, Trust Builders: The Key to Thriving Communities.
